Joshua Bell, a senior at Templeton High in California, finished fifth in the Rob Brenner boys championship race at the 44th ASICS Clovis Invitational at Woodward Park in Fresno, Calif. Bell covered the 5-kilometer layout in 14:50.7 to become one of five athletes in the race to eclipse the 15-minute barrier, the most in one race in meet history. Bell also elevated to the No. 28 all-time prep competitor at Woodward Park.
