Melanie Joerger led Thousand Oaks by finishing fourth in 18 minutes, 3 seconds on the Woodward Park course, site of next month's state championships. Genevieve Johnson (19:25) and Lalin Padberg (19:31) were 59th and 63rd.
For Ventura, Hannah Kirkegaard (18:37) and Shelton Paige (18:47) were 16th and 21st, respectively.
Sammie Cox (19:20) and Natalie Cox (19:40) of Newbury Park were 53rd and 76th.
In the boys championship division race, Thousand Oaks placed 15th. Newbury Park was 21st.
Leading Thousand Oaks were Sam Worley, who was 27th in 15:58, and Michael Spencer, 77th in 16:30. Newbury Park's Kendall Esparza and Jonathan Byrne were 61st and 71st.
Ventura placed fourth in its boys heat. Edwin Herrera (15:51) and Kyle Medina (16:22) were fifth and 18th respectively.
Ryan Zelada of Oak Park and Devin Borjas of Calabasas were 12th and 13th in their heat. Oak Park, which packed its five scorers within 42 seconds, was fifth. Calabasas placed 16th.
Fillmore and Nordhoff were eighth and 12th in their boys heat. Jose Almaquez (16:42) and Anthony Rivas (16:43) of Fillmore were 29th and 31st. Nordhoff's Gustavo Sanchez was eighth in 16:03.
Brianne Holland helped Royal finish fifth in its head by finishing first individually in 18:31. Sophie Mateu was ninth in 19:08.
In its girls heat, Oak Park placed four runners in the top 35 with a 19-second gap to finish seventh. Leading Oak Park were: Brittany Stalzer, 25th, 20:06; Kelsey Watters, 27th, 20:08; Kendall Engelhardt, 28th, 20:16; and Jenna Wall, 31st, 20:20.
La Reina was fifth in its girls heat. Fillmore and Nordhoff were 14th and 17th, respectively.
Alyssa Frank led La Reina by placing 10th in 19:28. Krista Andreassen (19:44) and Kelly Reinke (20:15) were 19th and 35th.
