Arroyo Grande High’s girls cross country team claimed the Division 2 large-school title at the Clovis Invitational on Saturday.
Talley Hill came in third overall, completing the hilly 5K course in 18 minutes, 53 seconds. Angela Gemignani (19:02) also cracked the top five (fifth), while Jocelyn Reynolds (19:13) came in ninth. Rosa Granados (18th, 19:35) and Leza Cassidy (22nd, 19:42) rounded out the scoring for the Eagles.
Arroyo Grande compiled a team time of 1:36:25, which was more than two minutes faster than second place. The Eagles won with 56 points, half the total of runner up Westview (112).
