FRESNO >> Flintridge Prep senior twins Alan and Sarah Yoho already produced an remarkable feat by sweeping the boys and girls varsity races at the first Prep League cross country meet Sept. 17.

Their combined efforts Saturday at the 35th annual ASICS/Clovis Invitational at Woodward Park might have been even more impressive.

Alan Yoho won the Division IV race on the 5-kilometer course in 15 minutes, 23 seconds, helping Flintridge Prep — the top-ranked team in Southern Section Division V — place second with 151 points and edge Morro Bay on a sixth-runner tiebreaker.

“Our goals were to put our best foot forward. Right now, we’re ranked third in the state and I think we can do a lot better than that. I personally think we should be ranked first, but I’m biased,” Alan Yoho said. “We just came out here and wanted to do our best and that’s exactly what we did. We had a great race.”
